I grew up curious about the world, which led me to the University of Tampa to study International Studies. I spent my college years diving into different cultures, learning to see how people everywhere find solace in the simple rituals of daily life—whether that’s sharing tea in Thailand or tending rooftop gardens in Europe.
After graduation, I came home to help run my moms business, pouring my energy into someone else’s dream—and slowly, I realized I’d lost touch with my own. That’s when I discovered the magic of plants. I am hoping to someday integrate the two in an impactful way. Watching a tiny cutting take root reminded me that growth doesn’t have to be loud or frantic; sometimes the gentlest care is the most powerful.
At home, I share my windowsill with three curious kitties who think they’re plant experts, a fiercely independent guinea pig who prefers her own space, and a community of fish whose quiet presence is endlessly soothing. Together, they’ve taught me that caring for another being—plant, animal, or person—is a practice in slow attention and compassion.
